Wilson is one of the first colleges in Pennsylvania to adopt the new professional term 91è���� “veterinary nurse 91è���� ” in place of the traditional 91è���� “veterinary medical technician. 91è���� ” The movement to rename the profession is part of an initiative by the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America to elevate the profession, improve career prospects, and create national standards for credentialing.
